Eastmont Towers is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community.
A CCRC is a unique type of senior living community, and Eastmont is proud to have upheld this tradition since its inception. As a CCRC, Eastmont offers independent living, assisted living, long-term services and support, rehabilitation services, and skilled nursing care on the same campus. Additionally we provide end of life care. As a resident’s needs increase, Eastmont is able to provide a smooth transition with convenient access to higher levels of personalized care.
Eastmont Towers’ campus setting offers a wide array of services for our residents, including on-site banking, chapel and vesper services, hair salons, fitness rooms, ice-cream parlor, solarium, gardens, laundry facilities for residents’ personal laundry, transportation, on-site bakery, computer centers with libraries, on and off campus programs and events, and dining and meeting rooms.
Levels of Care
Eastmont Towers offers different levels of care, including:
Independent Living – for senior adults at least 62 years of age. One and two-bedroom apartments are available. Registered nurses are available at two Health Clinics to provide services such as checking vital signs, providing wound care, setting up medications, providing routine health monitoring, and assessing simple health problems during clinic hours. Emergency nursing service is available 24 hours a day through the Care Center.
Independent Living Plus - a service for community residents, including minimal assistance with activities of daily living, routine health maintenance, and medication provision and review by nursing staff. These services are provided in the resident’s apartment. Independent Living Plus residents eat three meals a day in our main dining room and enjoy the same services as Independent Living residents. Residents living in Independent Living Plus apartments may need periodic but not 24-hour nursing assistance.
Assisted Living – Medically stable residents live in a secure, licensed environment with 24-hour nursing assistance available. Residents may receive minimal one-on-one assistance with activities of daily living, routine health maintenance, and medication provision and review by nursing staff. Residents living in assisted living enjoy meals, activities, and other services specially designed to meet their individual needs. Eastmont Towers provides assisted living care for up to 69 residents in The Seasons and the Live-In Center.
Skilled Nursing Facility – The Care Center is licensed as a 42-bed skilled nursing facility where medical care, skilled nursing care, rehabilitation, long-term care, and related services and associated treatments are provided 24 hours a day to those who are ill, injured or disabled. The Care Center is staffed with professional nurses 24 hours a day.
Life Brook – A specialty care area that allows residents to age-in-place. Twelve rooms are able to serve up to 14 Eastmont Life Care residents.
End-of-Life Care – The Monarch is a freestanding assisted living facility with six suites at 4201 South 78th Street, with a primary emphasis on hospice, to enhance the continuity and the quality of care delivered to terminally ill people and their families in our community.
